Iron is essential element for human body and in order to make the balance of nutrient stay stable, you must consume foods that are rich of iron. Body that is lack of iron may lead to anemia, it means anemia sufferer’s body is not able to absorb iron excellently. So, it is important for you to keep the amount of iron in the body to stay healthy.

Among many foods offer iron elements, egg is one of good sources you can count on. Egg contains of iron that may relieve the inflammation. Compared to red meat, egg doesn’t have the equal amount of iron but whenever the inflammation happens, egg should be the best choice to relieve the inflammation because it has a good content of vitamin A.

Vitamin A is generously produced in yolk, that’s why anemia sufferer with inflammation effect is suggested to consume egg at least one each day. But it is advised not to eat too many eggs since it also has a generous amount of cholesterol. Cholesterol doesn’t bring a good effect to body if it is consumed in an excessive amount.

Remember to eat boiled egg. It is necessary because its purpose is to eliminate salmonella bacteria without damaging the vitamin A or the iron contained. Salmonella bacteria are believed to be the major cause of diarrhea.

The iron in animal is referred as Heme. To allow the amount of iron in the body sufficiently fulfilled, consuming food like red meat is highly required. Foods like chicken, cow liver, and egg do have a good amount of iron but not as rich as red meat. In fact, the iron taken from animal foods are more absorbable than those contained in vegetables and other sources like nuts.

On the contrary, the iron contained in vegetables is called Non-Heme iron. The reason why non-heme iron is difficult to absorb is learning that there is a pretty complicated process to follow during the absorbing process. Spinach is well-known as a highly good source of iron. But it also has fitat acid that block the iron absorbing process and this will also disturb the iron balance in the body.

Another problem found during the iron absorbing process is the presence of calcium. Calcium blocks the iron absorbing, therefore to let the maximum iron absorbing process, the consumption of red meat should be accompanied with milk or calcium supplement.
