When waking up in the morning, people sometimes cannot tell what they have dreamt about last night. Apparently, your dream may have some meanings and there are things you can do with them. Studies are even conducted to bring possible interpretation regarding the dreams or what trigger such dream to appear.

Well, this is an exciting thing to learn that there are many types of dreams from which you can have further understanding. To be precise, the common dreams known include normal dream, lucid dream, daydream, nightmare, and more. Here are some of them.

NORMAL DREAM is the common dream every person on earth must ever has. During this normal dream, sometimes you dream about something you don’t think of. This dream may present you with essential messages from the subconscious mind. When dreaming the normal dream, it can be based on your feelings, thought, earlier experiences, or past memories. The imageries appear on your normal dream are often depicted as the representation of your fears, anxieties, or personal desires.

LUCID DREAM is believed to be the best type of the dream you can experience since you can know that you are dreaming and you also can control and direct your consciousness within the dream. This lucid dream comes to you within the normal dreams, this is why the dream is also called Dream-Initiated Lucid Dreams.

Actually, you can guide your brain from a waking conscious state to lucid dreaming state by using Wake-Initiated Lucid Dream as being used persistently by dream yogis and Tibetan Buddhist. There are two methods involved like guided mediation and self-induction of sleep paralysis.

DAYDREAM is the dreaming state when your mind is half-conscious which means you are neither fully asleep nor completely aware of the reality. As daydreaming, you are allowing yourself to build your own personal fantasy land because you let the memory, compelling thoughts or future dreams to pull you under.

Daydream is one of the types of dreams that may influence the outcome you may have in the future. Since daydream is essential, you should keep the positivity in you because it helps prevent the negativity. With a positive fantasy, it encourages you to avoid anxiety or worries buried deep inside your subconscious mind.

Finally, it is NIGHTMARE, the dream most people should have experienced. You will barely know that you are dreaming when you have nightmare because your unconscious mind completely take control so that you feel everything is real, including the pain. The major factors cause the nightmare is stress, sickness, past traumatic memories, or drugs and alcohol.
